АННОТАЦИЯ

In modern education, special attention is paid to the development of cognitive abilities and creative thinking of students. The article examines the use of active methods in the optional course called “Golden Ratio” and evaluates the effectiveness of its use for middle-level students in order to develop the above mentioned qualities. As part of the course, students study to apply the “Golden Ratio” principle to painting, search for lines of ratio in works of famous painters using the GeoGebra application, and create their own works of art taking into account this principle.
